At the very heart of this historic and unique village sits The Boar’s Head.
Converted from an original Coaching Inn and furnished with many paintings and antiques from Ripley Castle, The Boar’s Head is a delight with a traditional Bar, a cosy Snug with log fire and delightful Dining Room.
A perfect place for couples, families and your four legged friends.
The bar is open daily from 11am to 11pm (10.30pm on Sundays). Food is served Monday to Saturday from 12pm – 2.30pm for lunch and then 6pm – 9pm for dinner. On a Sunday, we serve a roast dinner all day as well as some of our classic dishes from 12pm-8pm.
Car Parking is free for residents staying with us at The Boar’s Head.
